Jennifer Stanford

Jennifer Stanford has been a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters Staff since 1992. A graduate of Holmes Community College and the University of Mississippi, Stanford became a member of Phi Theta Kappa in 1989. Her Phi Theta Kappa experience has been an incredible journey ~ taking her to 38 states and two countries for regional and international Society events.

Despite her long tenure at Headquarters, Jennifer feels more energized than ever as Phi Theta Kappa embraces Honors in Action. Her role in the Honors Program is service learning, having worked with previous International Service Programs, starting with an AIDS awareness initiative in 1996-98 through the 2006-2010 Service Program on Operation Green, an environmental initiative with Keep America Beautiful. Along the way, she’s been awed by the generosity of Phi Theta Kappans to devote their time and treasure to those in need. She also oversees the Five Star Competitive Edge Plan for members and the International Officer Campaign.

Jennifer is pursuing a master’s degree in higher education at Kaplan University with an emphasis on college teaching and learning. She and her husband live near Savannah, Georgia. She has two grown stepchildren, a granddaughter and two cats who think her home office is their playground.
